    Approximately 15 minutes.

  • How many sessions are recommended?

    A course of 3-6 sessions is required for optimal results, every 2 weeks. Afterwards a maintenance treatment is recommended once or twice a year, according to your skin needs. This will be discussed during the initial consultation with Doctor B as part of your treatment plan.

  • Is it painful?

    Injections are normally well tolerated. We normally apply a local anaesthetic numbing cream to the area.

  • What are the most common side effects?

    Swelling, tenderness, bruising and redness. These normally resolve in 1-2 weeks and patients are able to go back to their daily activities from day 1.
