Recombinant Enzymes

Recombinant enzYMES

One of the most exciting advances in Aesthetic medicine

What is treatment with Recombinant Enzymes?

The treatment consists of the application of recombinant enzymes (collagenase, lipase and lyase) to the treatment area. This innovative regenerative therapy will allow us to target common areas of concerns that have traditionally been challenging to treat such as:

  • Jowls
  • Double chin
  • Abnormal scarring (keloids)
  • Acne scars
  • Other scars
  • Post-surgical fibrosis
  • Cellulitis

How do the enzymes work?

The PBserum recombinant enzymes act on the three most important components of our dermis and subcutaneous cell tissue:

  • Collagenase will eliminate the damaged collagen and stimulate the creation of new collagen fibers.
  • Lipase will act on the adipocytes, thus reducing the thickness of the adipose panicle.
  • Lyase will act on the hyaluronic acid, in addition to increasing the permeability of tissues and helping in the diffusion of all the components of the solution.

All this will help to induce new collagen in the skin, improve its appearance, reduce fatty tissue and improve fibrosis. The synergy between the different enzymes makes this an incredibly safe and effective treatment.
