  • What is the duration of the treatment?

    This usually depends on how many areas are being treated but normally ranges from 30-40 minutes.

  • When will results start to be visible?

    Immediate results such as brighter skin will be visible on the same day which makes this peel ideal for a special event. Further results will be visible after two weeks although a series of sessions are required for the best results.

  • What can I expect to feel with a chemical peel?

    Given the way chemical peels work, it is normal to experience the below:

    • Mild burning sensation during treatment.
    • Itchiness due to dry skin (this can be reduced with moisturiser)
    • Skin peeling, it is well tolerated by patients.
  • What are the common side effects of this chemical peel?

    The most commonly seen side effects include:


    • Redness and swelling which are usually mild and resolve within 5-7 days. The redness is similar to sunburn and can be covered with make up from the day after the treatment. 
    • Allergic reactions to chemical peels are possible but are rare.
